The Minnesota Twins restocked their farm system with a bounty of young players they selected in the MLB draft over the past two days.
Driving the news: The team drafted 11 players on Sunday and Monday, and will draft 10 more Tuesday.
Details: They took New Jersey high school pitcher Chase Petty — who has a great NASCAR name — with the 26th pick in the first round.
- He can throw 102 miles per hour.
With the 36th pick, the Twins selected Wisconsin high school shortstop Noah Miller.
- They spent four of the next five picks on pitchers.
