Twin Cities chain Punch Pizza considers takeout-only concept

The future of Punch Pizza could include a takeout-only express concept similar to the type of coffee cabins Caribou Coffee is building along thoroughfares.

What's happening: The pandemic has taught Punch Pizza co-owner John Puckett more about the future of his business. "Our business is totally flipped around" to digital and takeout, he said.

• "It's really opened our eyes to the potential of how much takeout business we could do, even potentially a new type of store model."
