What San Diego voters need to know for Election Day

Election Day is finally here, and San Diego voters have until 8pm Tuesday to cast their ballots.

Why it matters: There's time to make your vote count in big races, including the governor's race, the Measure B sales tax and City Council.

How to vote: All San Diego County vote centers are open 7am-8pm Tuesday, and you can vote at any location in the county.

At a vote center, you can vote in person, turn in your mail ballot, get a replacement ballot or use an accessible voting machine.
Check wait times here.
Official ballot drop boxes are also open until 8pm.

Make sure you've signed and dated your mail ballot's return envelope before dropping it off.

Yes, but: Forgot to register? It's not too late.

Eligible voters can conditionally register and vote Tuesday at a vote center or the Registrar of Voters office.

One more thing: If you're in line at a vote center when polls close at 8pm, you still have the right to vote.
