San Diego's tucked-away bay trail feels like walking on water

Zoom in: You can get to the path near the intersection of Friars Road and Sea World Drive.

• If you follow it to the end of the jetty on Hospitality Point, it's about 2.3 miles on a smooth and paved path.
• You can always add on more on the Mission Bay bike path for extra distance.

Why do it: It's a tucked away path that makes you feel like you're walking straight out into the ocean.

• Plus fun views of the pups splashing in the waves at Ocean Beach Dog Beach.
