Closings:
š Matsu: Oceansideās elegant Japanese restaurant Matsu closed May 31 after nearly five years in business.

š Pali Wine Co.: The winery closed its longtime Little Italy tasting room and restaurant on India Street on July 19 after nearly a decade in the neighborhood.
- The owners said a steep proposed rent increase made renewing the lease unsustainable and relocated Pali Wine to the former Cellar Hand space in Hillcrest, which soft-opened as Pali Wine on Aug. 12.
