Catch the Wave's home opener at Snapdragon

Driving the news: The game kicks off at 7pm and tickets are $21+.

• The club is hosting a fan fest starting at 3:30pm outside Snapdragon with games, live music, a beer garden, poster-making and photo-ops.
• The first 10,000 fans in the stadium will get a limited-edition Wave FC baseball jersey.

Between the lines: The club consistently led the NWSL in attendance last season, starting with a record-breaking crowd of more than 32,000 fans at its home opener.

• About 19,500 fans attended each game in the 2024 season, earning the Wave a No. 2 ranking globally for average attendance in women's soccer.

State of play: The Wave entered the 2025 season with a new coach and about a dozen new players on the roster.

• The team tied rival Angel City FC 1-1 in its first game last weekend with midfielder Gia Corley scoring five minutes into her NWSL debut.
• International stars forward Adriana Leon and midfielder Kenzi Dali, and defender Trinity Armstrong, a 17-year-old rookie from UNC, also made their Wave debuts.
• Last season, the Wave went 2-0 against Utah.
