Driving the news: Herb & Wood recently added it to the menu and the demand had dozens of people waiting in line in the rain on a recent Friday afternoon in Little Italy.

• It was giving Black Friday vibes when the doors opened and everyone rushed in to snag a seat.
• The deal started at Herb & Sea in Encinitas, with raw oysters, and a bartender there said they regularly see a line out the door for happy hour.
