Jungle Bells at the Zoo and more things to do this weekend

The San Diego Zoo is joining in on the holiday festivities this weekend.

Why it matters: Jungle Bells gives visitors a chance to experience the wildlife in a new light with new interactive light shows and trails, live music, acrobatic performances, festive games and more.

Driving the news: The event starts Saturday and runs every night until 8pm through Jan. 5.

Wild Holidays at the Safari Park in Escondido features similar activities through Jan. 5.
