Catch Axios SD in the wild

👋 Andy here: We've got good news for anyone who doesn't get enough from me in this newsletter daily.

What's happening: "Voice of San Diego" has invited me as a guest for their live podcast recording Thursday at 5:30 pm at Modern Times Point Loma.

• I was a co-host of that show in a past life — aka about eight months ago. I'm stoked to nerd out with my old pals.

Between the lines: We're going to break down some of the biggest development projects planned in San Diego.

• Topics likely up for discussion: Midway Rising (a 5-wood away from Modern Times), plus the city's attempts to revamp its Civic Center and scandal-plagued 101 Ash Street.

Details: Tickets are $15 for anyone who isn't a "Voice of San Diego" member, or free for members. For $65, one can attend the event and begin a one-year membership.

• Be sure to come say what's up if you make it out. It should be a fun, wonky time.
