Taste of the Draft brings local treats, Steelers stars

• The PNC Bank-sponsored event will be at the Tower at PNC Plaza in Downtown from 4-7pm on April 22, the day before the draft begins.

🥟 Zoom in: Primanti Bros. will have its famous sandwiches, Ritual House will serve deviled eggs, DiAnoia's Eatery will sample meatballs, and pierogies will be on offer from Common Plea Catering, GENYOUth CEO Ann Marie Krautheim tells Axios.

🏈 State of play: Steelers greats Randy Grossman, Fred Baxter, and Maurkice Pouncey will be on hand to mingle and sign autographs.

• Krautheim says other Steelers players will be in attendance, but they will be a surprise.
• Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern, of "Bizarre Foods" fame, will host the event.

📚 Proceeds will benefit GENYOUth in supporting 91 school nutrition grants across Southwestern Pennsylvania and Erie County.
