Pittsburghers to watch in the winter Olympics

🏒 Vincent Trocheck, men's ice hockey, center for Team USA

• Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Mt. Lebanon
• Played in the Pittsburgh Hornets youth hockey club
• Currently plays for the New York Rangers

🥅 Ava McNaughton, women's ice hockey, goaltender for Team USA

• Born in Seven Fields, Butler County
• Studied in the Pine-Richland School District
• Won the NCAA Championship with the Wisconsin Badgers last year

🛷 Jasmine Jones, two-women bobsled for Team USA

• Born and raised in the Greensburg area
• A two-time state champion in the 4x100m relay at Hempfield Area High School
• Currently serves in the U.S. Air Force

💀 Daniel Barefoot, skeleton for Team USA

• A Johnstown-area native
• First-time Olympian

⛸ J.T. Miller, men's ice hockey, forward for Team USA

• Born in nearby East Palestine, Ohio, but moved to Moon as a kid
• Played in the Pittsburgh Hornets youth hockey club
• Currently plays for the New York Rangers

• A Penguin since 2022
• An NHL All-Star in 2018
