HBO Max's Pittsburgh-set hospital drama "The Pitt" took home the top honor at the Primetime Emmy Awards last night — outstanding drama series — beating out contenders like "Severance," "The White Lotus" and "Slow Horses."
Zoom in: Noah Wyle also won outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his role as Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch.
Katherine LaNasa won outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her role as veteran nurse Dana Evans.
It was both actors' first Emmy win.
What they're saying: "If anybody is going on shift tonight or coming off shift tonight, thank you for being in that job. This is for you," Wyle said during his acceptance speech.
