Miami is gearing up for a lively July Fourth as America celebrates its 250th anniversary.
The big picture: From live music to fireworks, here are some of the free celebrations going on this weekend.
🎤 Milander Park: Hialeah is hosting live performances from Wisin, Cedric Gervais and more.
- Expect food trucks and a fireworks show. Clear bags allowed, along with beach chairs, towels and blankets.
- Free. Gates open at 3:30pm. After party is at 11pm.
🇺🇸 Bayfront Park: The downtown Miami park will host a star-studded concert, fireworks display and drone show coinciding with the FIFA Fan Festival.
- Artists include Ashanti and Ja Rule, The Fray, Shaggy and Willy Chirino.
- Admission is free with RSVP but there is limited capacity, so get there early.
- Saturday, 1pm-midnight.
🌭 Peacock Park: Celebrate the Fourth at the Coconut Grove park with live entertainment, carnival games, food and fireworks.
- There will be performances from Tony Succar and Band, along with Orlando Mendez.
- Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
- Free with RSVP. Saturday, 5-9pm.
🇺🇸 Jose Marti Park: The Little Havana park hosts a July 4th celebration with live music, free food, children's games, and a fireworks show.
- Free. Saturday, 4pm.
- Fireworks begin at 9:15pm.
🌭 Charles Hadley Park: The Fourth of July Family Fest will feature free food for kids and seniors (first come, first served), rides, games, bounce houses, live music and a fireworks show.
- Free. Saturday, 4-9pm.
🇺🇸 Miami Beach: Saturday in Altos Del Mar Park from 5-10pm, enjoy a free family zone featuring kids activities, food trucks and musical performances.
- There will be a drone show and fireworks display on the beachfront at 76 Street at 9pm.
- 🛼 Nearby, the Miami Beach Bandshell will transform into a free outdoor roller disco and live music from 5-9pm. Bring your own skates. Residents get free skate rentals with photo ID. (RSVP)
- In South Beach, there will be a free fireworks display and live music, including from the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival, beginning at 8:30pm (fireworks at 9pm). Bring your own chairs or blankets, or watch from a restaurant.
🌭 Tropical Park: Miami-Dade County is hosting a Fourth of July event with live music, food vendors, children's activities and fireworks.
- Free. Saturday, 3-9pm.
