Before Formula 1 cars race around Hard Rock Stadium this weekend, they will roar through Coconut Grove during a McLaren show run on Wednesday.
Why it matters: It's one of the many free fan events happening this week around the Miami Grand Prix, proof that what happens off the track is almost as exciting as the race itself.

- There will be practice and qualifying sessions Friday and Saturday, and a sprint race on Saturday.
- Formula 2 and F1 Academy, the female racing league, will also race in Miami this weekend.
