Things to do this weekend: Festivals galore

The 43rd Annual Miami Film Festival kicks off today and runs through April 19 with events around town.

The 18th Annual Miami Beach Pride is underway, with its two-day festival at Lummus Park on Saturday and Pride Parade Sunday.

O, Miami Poetry Festival is ongoing. This weekend's highlight is the festival's Quinceañera, celebrating 15 years of growing and celebrating Miami's poetry community.

Art Club: This weekly community event invites guests to bring their sketchbook (or nothing!), get creative and meet other artists. All skill levels welcome.

• Thursday, 7pm-1am, The Boombox Miami. Free.

A Century's Worth of Poetry: An evening of poetry and connection with Caridad Moro-Gronlier, Poet Laureate of Miami-Dade County.

• Thursday, 6pm, North Miami Public Library. Free

Magic City Flea Market features more than 40 vendors offering vintage and handmade goods, food and drinks.

• Saturday, 12pm. Free

Wynwood Art Walk: The event returns on Saturday, offering art, music and community around the neighborhood.
