These Florida natives are competing in the 2026 Masters Tournament

Get your green blazers ready, because Masters Week is here.

Why it matters: This is golf's first major of the year and an unofficial start to the golf season for many folks around the country (not everyone is blessed with year-round golfing weather).

The intrigue: This year's tournament, which takes place at Augusta National Golf Club, includes three Floridian golfers.

Brooks Koepka: The West Palm Beach native is a two-time Masters runner-up, most recently in 2023, and a five-time major winner, per ESPN. This is his 11th Masters appearance.

Bubba Watson: Born in Bagdad, FL, Watson, is making his 18th Masters start this year. He is a two-time Masters winner, taking first place in 2012 and 2014.

Daniel Berger: Making his seventh Masters start this year, the Plantation native had five top-15 finishes worldwide last year. His best Masters finish was in 2016 (T-10).

Zoom out: Nearly two-dozen additional golfers competing in the tournament reside in Florida.

If you watch: The 90th Masters Tournament begins Thursday and runs through Sunday.
