It's the last weekend of February (crazy, we know), so get outside and close out Black History Month with these various events around town.
🕺 Botanical Garden Groove invites guests to close out Black History Month with a celebration of Black dance music at the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens, hosted by Public Energy.
- Friday, 6pm-10pm. Free with RSVP.
🪩 We Belong Here is celebrating its 5th birthday all weekend with its three-day music festival at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.
- Lineup includes Tiësto, Kaskade Redux, Lost Frequencies and more.
- Begins Friday, 5pm. Tickets: $75+
🗣️ This Is Our City brings together leaders from Engage Miami, the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, Smile Trust and Black Men Build Miami, for a morning "rooted in community, culture and liberation."
- The event, brought by the People's Movement Assembly, which calls to unite around housing justice, will feature workshops, activities and more.

🎷 OurMarket is back at the Inter Grove Gallery, the open, collaborative space beneath The Underline, with local vendors, workshops and live jazz.
- Cafe Con Lu will also be popping up, featuring its February flavor, "Fresas, Frambuesas y Forrest Gump."

🎨 Sketch Meet for Swamp People invites folks to come together, enjoy the fresh air and draw things they see in nature. The event is held on the last Saturday of every month.
- Saturday, Holland Park (Hollywood), 3pm-5pm. Free
📚 Books Unbanned: A Day Celebrating Black Literature is a day full of readings, conversation and community centered around celebrating Black literature and culture.
- The lineup kicks off at 12:30pm with a children's book reading session
- Sunday, Green Space Miami, 12:30pm-6pm. Free
