🎭 Premier of "English Only" at The Colony Theatre. The play, from Miami New Drama, is set in the 1980s in the wake of the Mariel Boatlift, "when 125,000 new arrivals to South Florida ignited a fierce grassroots campaign to make English the county's sole language."

• The play runs through Feb. 22.

🌝 Moon Watching at Deering Estate invites guests to relax at the park after hours with blankets, binoculars and a picnic.

• Friday, 5pm-8pm. Tickets: $10

🤘 Emo Nite at The Ground Miami is a theme party that pops up at venues across the country, playing music to the likes of Blink-182, All Time Low and The Maine

• Friday, 11pm. Must be 21. Tickets $21+

📍 The Mapping Miami workshop, hosted by Buen Provecho Collective, will guide participants through prompts to reflect on a place in Miami that has significance and create art about it.

• The art made at this inaugural event will live in a "permanent digital archive" that will "map and preserve Miami's collective memory in the face of fast urban change."

🧩 Vision Boarding for Miami is a craft day for attendees to create and connect with others and "visualize the Miami we dream of."

• Led by local artist Motyko Morales, a first-gen Honduran-Cuban multi-disciplinary artist and organizer in the 305.
