CFP Championship weekend events: 5K, live music and more

College football fans, listen up: This is your weekend to be immersed in interactive experiences, even if you aren't attending Monday night's championship game.

We've rounded up a few events to help plan your weekend.

Playoff Fan Central, happening all weekend long at the Miami Beach Convention Center, is a family-friendly event featuring games, pep rallies, autograph signings and college football exhibits.

10am-6pm Friday-Sunday. Free.
Hurricanes pep rally at 2pm Sunday. Hoosiers pep rally at 3.

The CFP Trophy Trot by Baptist Health offers a 5K and a 10K race through South Beach.

8am Sunday at South Pointe Park.
Registration: $45-$55

AT&T Playoff Playlist Live at Lummus Park in South Beach includes a lineup of performers like Calvin Harris, Peso Pluma and Latin Mafia.

6pm Saturday and Sunday. Free

Taste of the Championship at Club M2 in Miami Beach is a "one-of-a-kind culinary journey" featuring dishes and beverages crafted by local chefs.

5-8pm Sunday. Tickets: $200.
