South Florida drops in health ranking of biggest U.S. metros

The big picture: In a separate health ranking from the United Health Foundation, Florida was ranked the 30th healthiest state in the U.S.

How it works: Mindbody surveyed 2,557 adults across the U.S., analyzing health factors like exercise, sleep habits, stress and community connection.

• United Health's rankings are based on social and economic factors, physical environment, clinical care, behaviors and health outcomes.
• The healthiest state was New Hampshire.
