With Art Basel now over, we're looking back at our favorite moments.
Sommer's top moment: On Friday morning, a few friends and I got to South Beach before sunrise to see two of Basel's centerpiece installations.
Just before sunset, we saw Pilar Zeta's "The Observer Effect," an immersive portal at The Shelborne By Proper.
Then we walked along the beach to The Faena, where we saw Es Devlin's "Library of Us" (pictured above!), the 6-meter-tall triangular bookshelf surrounded by a pool and circular reading table.

Martin's Basel pick: The creativity on display at Art Basel was so spectacular, but I spent some time at the fair Saturday just people watching — specifically seeing rabid crowds jockey to catch a glimpse of "Regular Animals" by Beeple.
I couldn't get close enough to see the robot dogs wearing the faces of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Pablo Picasso but my Axios colleague Emma Way did!
