Nashbash bring Southern rock sounds to Miami Beach Bandshell

The sounds of Nashville are coming to Miami Beach this weekend for the inaugural Nashbash.

The big picture: The southern music showcase is one of several concerts taking place around Miami Art Week, including the Tribeca Festival and Gunn Basel.

Zoom in: Maggie Rose and Moon Taxi are headlining the Sunday afternoon concert, which also features performances from Paul McDonald & the Mourning Doves and Jess Nolan.

The show will be streamed free online.

What they're saying: Moon Taxi drummer Tyler Ritter tells Axios that the band hasn't played in Miami before and he's hoping to catch some Latin bands live while he's in town.

He joked that he would love to cover Miami Sound Machine during the show.
"We are going to bring the party."
