Miami Dolphins unveil "Dark Waters" rivalry jerseys for Jets game

The Miami Dolphins unveiled a moody new "rivalry" jersey inspired by the dark depths of the ocean.
State of play: The team will wear the new "Dark Waters" uniform against the rival New York Jets on Sept. 29 at Hard Rock Stadium.
- The new threads will then be added to Miami's jersey rotation for the next three seasons.
- It's part of the NFL's new "Rivalries" initiative celebrating iconic rivalries with unique Nike jersey designs.
Zoom in: The "Dark Waters" jersey looks black, but it's actually dark blue upon closer inspection.
- It features bright aqua numbers and orange player names.
- The city's 305 zip code appears on the front of the helmet.
The vibes: The jersey evokes the Miami Heat's "Vice Nights" design, but with Dolphins colors instead of "Miami Vice" pastels.
Miami's AFC rivals also got new alternate jerseys and the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots are giving the Fins stiff competition in the style department.
Where to get it: Miami will begin selling the jerseys on Sept. 10 at the Hard Rock Stadium team store, coinciding with a launch party that fans can RSVP to attend.
- They will also be available for purchase online starting on that date.
