Happy (almost) Fourth of July! To celebrate the holiday, we've rounded up the best events and firework shows to catch around the city.
The 66th Annual Key Biscayne Fourth of July Parade kicks off Friday at 11am and features floats and marching bands, culminating in a community picnic and family-friendly activities.
- The parade route travels down Crandon Boulevard from Harbor Drive to West Enid Drive.
The Bayfront Park Fourth of July Festival doubles as a centennial celebration for the park this year. Enjoy live music, hot dog eating contests and family-friendly activities all afternoon.
- Friday, 4pm-10pm. Free.
The 18th Annual Red, White & Grove returns to Peacock Park with family-friendly events, culinary offerings, a live performance by the Miami Symphony Orchestra and a drone and fireworks show.
- Friday, 3pm-9pm. Free
Race to the 4th at the Homestead Miami Speedway features an evening of live music, fireworks and food, plus local vendors and an exhibit of more than 100 luxury cars.
- Friday, 5pm-10pm. Free
4th of July Roller Disco at the Miami Beach Bandshell is back, inviting guests to skate in style around the outdoor venue.
- Friday, 5pm-9pm. Free.
- Skate rentals available (free for Miami Beach residents)
North Beach fireworks: After you go roller skating, head to the nearby Altos Del Mar Park for a Fourth of July celebration, featuring live music, a rock-climbing wall, obstacle course and more.
- Food trucks will be on site.
- Starts at 5pm.
- Fireworks will be launched near the beachfront at 76 Street at 9pm.
South Beach fireworks: Ocean Drive will be home to the Independence Day Fireworks & Patriotic Concert.
- An orchestra performance by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival begins at 8:30 p.m.
- The fireworks display will begin at 9pm.
- Ocean Drive and 12 Street.
Miami Gardens celebration: Head to the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex from 5pm-9pm for food, music and fireworks.
A Gables FourthCelebration and Fireworks Extravaganza: The annual Independence Day celebration takes place at the Biltmore Hotel and features fireworks and drone displays and a concert by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band.
- Grounds open at 5 p.m. Concert begins at 7 p.m. Drone and fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.
- General admission is free.
- Concessions and food trucks will be available.
Military Appreciation Night at loanDepot Park for the Marlins vs. Brewers game includes discounted tickets for military families and a postgame fireworks show.
- Friday, 7:10pm. Tickets $38+
4th of July Bash at The Yard in Downtown Doral features drink specials and a live DJ, beginning at 7pm. Free with RSVP.
