State of play: As Matthew Tkachuk and the Panthers play the Oilers in the Stanley Cup Final, a more friendly competition featuring adoptable rescue dogs is returning for the second year.
The show premieres Friday at 5:30pm on TruTV.
How it works: During the 90-minute television special, the pups will play a canine version of hockey on synthetic ice.
