• In the mayor's race, Lago was on track to defeat Commissioner Kirk Menendez, preliminary results Tuesday night showed.
• In Group II, Commissioner Rhonda Anderson — a Lago ally — appeared headed for reelection.

In group III, none of the candidates had received a majority of the vote as of Tuesday night.
