Whether you're looking to see art, enjoy food or attend a festival, there are plenty of events happening this month to celebrate Black History Month.
- Miami Dade College has a calendar of events ranging from workshops to performances to presentations throughout the month. So does the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau.
- Miami-Dade County is offering two Black History Month Bus Tours on Feb. 8 and Feb. 22.
- The Miami-Dade Public Library System also has a month of programming.
Feb. 3: Broward County's African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) has a new exhibit called "Reveal the Beauty: The Literature and Art of the Harlem Renaissance."
- It features rare books and art, part of the center's Dorothy Porter Wesley Collection, celebrating the centennial of the Harlem Renaissance and its role in shaping African American artistic expression from the 1920s to the 1940s.

Feb. 7: The city of Miami Beach is hosting a Black History Night celebration featuring cultural performances, food, rides and crafts.

Feb. 8: The 9th Annual Soul Vegan & Seafood Festival in Miami Beach offers plant-based African American/Caribbean cuisine, live music and a children's play zone.

Feb. 8: Heritage Fest celebrates Pan-African culture and community artistry.

Feb. 13: Enjoy a screening of the documentary, "Never Drop the Ball," which spotlights Black baseball players who helped transform the sport. Panel discussion to follow.

Feb. 20: Listen to songs and spoken word performances from Hued Songs at the Bass Museum in South Beach.
- The all-women cast emphasize female resistance, freedom and self-liberation, amplifying Black joy, creativity and belonging.

Feb. 22: "Cuban Folk Dance Traditions: Exploring African Roots" will teach participants how to dance Rumba, Salsa and Afro-Cuban folk, while examining their roots and cultural significance.

Feb. 28–March 2: The Melton Mustafa Jazz Festival at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater.
