Maybe the start of 2025 has hit you like a road-rage karate chop – or perhaps you're on your way to finding "joy" in Miami.
- Either way, the Magic City could definitely use spiritual cleansing to kick off the new year.
State of play: We asked local psychic Nicole Evans to give Miami a reading for the year ahead – offering predictions on love, traffic and sports.
Her responses have been edited for space and clarity
How can Miamians find love this year?
Love is energy. Energy is magnetic, so when we're vibrating at our highest frequencies and fully accept self-love, the universe and divine timing will bring that love to you.
- It's also good to really sit there and think of the traits you want in your next partner and write down those manifestations! After you are aligned, love will naturally gravitate towards you via divine timing, whether it be at a local event, such as an art show, festival, social gathering or even through a health club, gym or yoga facility, cafe or lounge and by even volunteering you will meet like-minded individuals with pure kind souls!
- Once you self-reflect and clear out any stagnant energy from previous relationships, others will see the bright changes in your aura and approach you.
What should Miamians be worried about this year?
Unfortunately, I don't see in the cards the traffic situation changing at all. If anything I see it becoming more of a problem with longer delays. I do not see any traffic improvements at all in this new year and the housing market prices will go up unfortunately as well but other than that I do see this new year is going to be filled with positive movements and development!
Are any of our sports teams cursed? We have disgruntled superstars, mediocre play and lots of drama.
The Dolphins stadium was built over ancient Indian burial grounds and that energy is still present today and does impact the players mentally, physically and spiritually along with their performance.
- I actually do guidance and aligning quite often for some of the players on the team but I do see them improving [next season].
Will any of Miami's sports teams win a championship in 2025?
I do see that there is extremely high potential for the outcome of one of our city's teams to win a championship this year! But we'll leave that one a surprise for you guys ;)
What should Miamians be hopeful for this year?
Resilience and recovery! The tarot spread shows continued recovery from the pandemic, with better health outcomes and support for mental and spiritual well-being in the community along with job opportunities and community support. I also see social connectedness and opportunities for deeper relationships and overall positive changes and less chaotic energy in Miami this year.
