Cuban history exhibit opens at Miami museum

The American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora just opened a new exhibit that immerses visitors in the brutality of the Castro regime and tells the story of those who fled Cuba.

What's inside: "The Cuban Experience" is composed of hundreds of artifacts, pictures and videos, including immersive installations like a simulated execution wall and recreated prison cells.

The exhibit is meant to honor political prisoners, Cubans who lost their lives fighting the regime and members of Miami's exile community.

If you go: Admission is free this month, then $8+.
