Here's what we know about where the key races around Miami stand as of Wednesday morning.
- The U.S. Senate and House District 27 races have been called by the Associated Press.
- Other races show who is leading in unofficial results, according to local election officials.
U.S. Senate
Sen. Rick Scott easily won reelection, defeating former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.
U.S. House District 27
Incumbent Republican Rep. María Elvira Salazar beat Democrat Lucia Báez Geller, securing her third term.
County Commission, District 7
Incumbent Raquel Regalado is on track to beat challenger Cindy Lerner in Tuesday's run-off.
Miami-Dade School Board District 7
Incumbent Mary Blanco, who was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2023 and endorsed this year, held a lead against challenger Max Tuchman, securing the board's conservative majority.
Miami-Dade School Board District 3
Joseph Geller, former state representative and longtime chair of Miami-Dade County Democratic Party, is on track to defeat former school board member Martin Karp in Tuesday's runoff.
Miami-Dade Sheriff
Republican Rosanna "Rosie" Cordero-Stutz, the Trump-backed assistant director of the Miami-Dade Police Department, is set to become Miami-Dade's first elected sheriff in nearly 60 years.
- Democrat James Reyes, Miami-Dade's public safety chief, conceded defeat.
Other constitutional offices
Republicans also appeared to sweep Miami-Dade's other constitutional offices, which are now all subject to voter approval.
- Former Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado is in line to become the next property appraiser.
- Dariel Fernandez is on track to become tax collector.
- State Rep. Alina Garcia is set to become the next supervisor of elections.
- Juan Fernandez-Barquin is likely to remain clerk of the circuit court and comptroller.
Doral Mayor
Mayor Christi Fraga was on track to handily defeat challenger Roxanna Garay to secure her second term.
North Miami Mayor
Mayor Alix Desulme appears headed to a runoff after no candidate received a majority of votes.
- He will either face former state lawmaker Daphne Campbell or challenger Héctor Medina, who were only separated by 32 votes.
Miami Referendums 2 and 3 - Watson Island developments
Miami voters appeared to approve two ballot questions calling for the redevelopment of city-owned Watson Island.
- Referendum 2 asked whether developers could buy a slice of Jungle Island to build condos. In return, they'd build a public park for the city.
- Referendum 3 asked whether a separate development team could buy a piece of the island to build two mixed-use towers with hotel rooms, condo units and a public promenade on the south side of Watson Island.
