Things to do in Miami this Halloween weekend

It's (almost) the weekend! It's Halloween! It's the first weekend of November! Early voting ends! So much to celebrate! 

• We've rounded up our top recommendations for a clearly busy weekend. 

👻 Lincoln Road Halloween Block Party: The popular road will transform into a spooky corridor, complete with zombies, superheroes and vampires for a fun night of music and festivities. 

• Tonight, 4pm-1am. Free.
• Family-friendly trick or treating from 4pm-6pm.
• Live bands and performances begin at 7pm. 

🏃 Run to the polls with the second Run the Vote community run, led by Miami Freedom Project and various local run clubs. 

• Participants can cast their vote after the 5k community run. 
• Saturday at the Vizcaya Historic Garage. 
• Meet at 7:30am. Run at 8am. Free.

🎶 The One-Day Choir project at the Fillmore Miami Beach invites residents to sing together for one day to build community and encourage folks to vote. 

• Participants will learn to sing "A Beautiful Noise" by Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlile.
• Saturday, 12pm-3pm. Free.

💀 15th Annual Day of the Dead celebration in Fort Lauderdale celebrates the Mexican tradition with a free festival, stroll and block party. 

• The festival: Esplanade Park, 3pm-8pm 
• The stroll begins at 6:30pm; the block party lasts until 11pm
• Free

🎞️ Miami Film Festival GEMS has movie screenings throughout the weekend.
