Move over, Moo Deng. Miami has its own pygmy hippo

Internet sensation Moo Deng may be the only pygmy hippopotamus to ever get her own "Saturday Night Live" skit, but you don't need to fly to Thailand to see a petite hippo up close.

Meet Aubergine, a 6-year-old pygmy hippo at ZooMiami.

Leaning into Moo Deng mania, the zoo posted baby pics of "Aubie" on Instagram a few weeks back, prompting an outpouring of online love.

Aubergine loves to explore and "can actually be quite funny," a zoo keeper told Miami New Times.
