South Florida had already been feeling heavy rainfall but additional downpours could impact the region Tuesday through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

• South Florida and the Florida Keys could see between 4 and 8 inches of rain over the next week.
• The southeast coast has a moderate (40%) risk of flash floods.

The city of Miami will distribute sandbags to residents with proof of ID tomorrow from 8am to 7pm.
