Two Miami restaurants make New York Times best in America list

La Camaronera, the legendary fish market and seafood restaurant, has been operating since 1973.

• This family-run joint is famous for its camarones fritos ($13.95) and the deep-fried minuta sandwich ($15.95 with a side).
• The restaurant has been featured on Guy Fieri's Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and Michelle Bernstein's PBS show "Check Please!"

Walrus Rodeo, opened in 2022 by the owners of neighboring Boia De, likes to say it's "not just a pizzeria," though the slices here are widely acclaimed.

• The Infatuation Miami, which hailed it one of Miami's best restaurants of 2023, recommends — among other things — the rodeo za ($19), a pizza pie with anchovies, spicy tomatoes and maple-brown butter.
