Review: Feasting at Blue Collar for Miami Spice

• Its Miami Spice dinner menu ($45) is perhaps the best deal out there.

The vibes: Sit outside on the expanded patio and enjoy a cold beer under a ceiling fan while watching the sunset.

What we ordered: The mouth-watering Cuban sandwich spring rolls are a must, but don't sleep on the gooey, fried smoked gouda bites.

• The Corben sandwich was my sweet-and-savory MVP: Two brisket sandwiches on sweet portuguese muffins with dipping jus, served alongside latkes and applesauce.
• We also got the pork cheek osso bucco: fall-off-the-bone goodness served with mashed potatoes, braising jus and ciabatta.

Bottom line: This felt like a holiday feast with all the jus, the sweet and salty options and the family-like restaurant staff.

• We took a couple doggy bags home and enjoyed the leftovers for lunch.
