Axios Miami reporter shares her perfect Miami day

☀️ My day would begin with either a sunrise run on Miami Beach's boardwalk (preferably with my run club) or paddling off Key Biscayne (likely with one of my best pals, Ali.) Legion Park Yoga is also a top contender.

• Coffee (black, hot, regardless of weather) is next, either at Surry Hills Coffee in Little River or Caracas Bakery or Panther Coffee (the MiMo locations).

Breakfast: Those who know me know I hate brunch (I have a lot to say about it!), and rarely do I eat breakfast out.

• 🥯 Yes, but: I'll admit I do enjoy El Bagel (either location, usually with my childhood BFF, Nicky) or one of the toasted sourdoughs at Caracas.

Morning: I'd spend time with friends or reading my book, then peruse Books & Books (the Grove location is my favorite) or a pop up market, like Little River Flea.

• Plus: A pottery class with Of Course I Still Love You, too.

🍜 Lunch: Enriquetas for a Cubano. Palacio de los Jugos if I want plátanos maduros. Poke-San at The Citadel. The entire menu at Tran An. For something light and refreshing, The Last Carrot.

Afternoon: Stroll around the Pérez Art Museum. Then, the beach.

• I'd cool off with Peel Soft Serve, then a beer at Bob's Your Uncle, the best bar in Miami.

🍔 Dinner: I love a burger, and I'm usually craving Over Under's. (I also go there to dance.) In a perfect world, I'd have a reservation at Boia De.

• Other favorites: Katana and Silver Lake Bistro (I'm a proud North Beach resident) and Shore to Door Fish Market in the Grove. For pizza, La Natural or Old Greg's (RIP).

🎶 Evening: I'd end the day with live music, either at The Bandshell or ZeyZey.
