Another Miami brewery announces it's closing. New location in the works

Wynwood's J Wakefield Brewing announced it is closing after nearly 10 years in business, another hit for Miami's brewery landscape.

The big picture: The "Star Wars"-themed watering hole is the fourth Miami brewery to close so far this year, per the Miami Herald.

What they're saying: J Wakefield posted on Instagram that "the ever-changing landscape of the neighborhood has presented challenges that we can no longer navigate effectively."

What's next: The brewery's last day of service will be Oct. 27 and ownership is looking at reopening at a new location.

"We'll be keeping you updated on our progress and can't wait to welcome you [to] our new home when the time comes."
