Miami is a city of emotional extremes.

  • Locals love the culture, the community and the nightlife. We also hate the traffic, unaffordability and flooding.

Here's what our readers had to say about Miami on 305 Day.

Chris S. wrote: "The things I love about Miami are the things that drive me crazy: the diversity of cultures, different kinds of foods, people from many different places with their fascinating stories."

  • "But then there's the traffic (especially sharing the road with kamikazes), trying to shift gears to have a conversation in different languages, not to mention dealing with street closures every other day for festivals, bike races, marathons, etc."

Annalisa D. had this to say: "Grateful for Legion Park Yoga. Every Saturday morning, starting at 10am, Anamargret Sanchez (Miami's best yoga instructor) teaches a yoga class for a full hour under the beautiful oak trees. And it's free."

  • "And if you can't make it, she records the class & posts it on IG! She's been hosting this class for well over a decade. Miami's Upper Eastside community is so lucky to have this."

Alexus B. wrote: "I love the artsy culture and vibe. You would think art originated in Miami by how many buildings and creative businesses are thriving in the city.

  • "I also love how community-oriented the city is. There are many businesses/organizations working with communities to build opportunities and resources for one another."
