Holiday pop-ups in KC to add to your nice list this December

Cowtown Country Club Christmas

• For one night only Thursday from 6-9pm, Mean Mule Distilling Co. will host a cowboy Santa from 6-8pm and live music starting at 7pm.

The Elf Bar

• You've heard of Elf on a Shelf. But have you heard of Restless Spirits Distillery's new elf-themed pop-up bar? Reservations are open now through Dec. 21.

Holiday Hideaway

• The Brass Monkey, a new cocktail lounge at 307 Admiral Blvd. in Kansas City, is decked out in decor and has a specialty drink series.

How the Grinch Stole Goat and Rabbit

• This one wins the "longest name" award. It opened at 1804 W. 39th St. in Kansas City on Tuesday and runs through Jan. 4.

The Poinsettia

• A cozy pop-up by The Primrose at 5622 Johnson Drive in Mission returns through December. They will not be taking reservations.
• Nearby, the speakeasy Common Tiger, operated by the same owner, has its own holiday pop-up called Ski Lodge. Find the password on its website.

Season of the People

• Drastic Measures in Shawnee is forgoing a pop-up (it previously hosted the Hanukkah-themed Drastic Mensches) in favor of a simpler holiday gift — all drink prices are lowered to $10 through December.
