🌞 Here's the deal: For 10 days this summer, Carowinds is hosting more than 30 performances spread across multiple stages in a first-of-its-kind event.
- The Summer Music Festival is taking place on select Fridays and Saturdays in July and August at Carowinds, right on the state line.
- Each day of the fest will feature a headliner — like Flo Rida or the Bret Michaels Parti-Gras Tour — playing at the Paladium amphitheater, with an opening act to warm up the crowd.
- There will also be two additional stages set up in-park with local bands and emerging artists performing sets throughout the afternoon on festival days, spreading music all across the park.
🎸 Worth a mention: Since its inception in 1975, the Paladium has played host to icons such as Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Charlie Daniels, James Taylor, Mary J. Blige and the Temptations.
🎶 The deets: The festival will deliver an amazing mix of artists across multiple genres, guaranteeing that there's something to get everybody excited.
- Singer/songwriter LeAnn Rimes and folk and blues duo Johnnyswim will bring their soulful sounds to the Paladium on Friday, July 5th.
- Let your hair down on Saturday, July 6th as the 80s come alive again with monster riffs from the Bret Michaels Parti-Gras Tour, with special guests Dee Snider and Steve Augeri, plus Great White and Slaughter.
- If you're a child of the 90s, you're not going to want to miss the epic lineup of Sugar Ray with Better Than Ezra and Tonic on Saturday, August 3rd.
- Hip-hop meets country on Friday, August 9th as Flo Rida and Blanco Brown bring their southern charms to the main stage at the Paladium.
- Plus, plus, plus: See even more artists perform live, including TobyMac, Skillet, Brantley Gilbert, Carly Pearce, Brett Young, Russell Dickerson and many others.
