Free ways to get out and about

๐ถ Jam out at Uptown Live: Thursdays from 5-9pm through July 9.
- The series brings live music and DJ sets at Truist Center Plaza, followed by an after-party across locally owned spots in the Fifth Street District.
๐จ Browse the First Friday Gallery Crawl: July 10 and Aug. 7 in South End.
- Explore the local art scene after hours during this free, public event. Exhibits and crawl maps change monthly.
๐ฅ Stroll the South End Farmers Market: Saturdays from 8am-1pm.
- Shop fresh produce, handmade goods, art and more from rotating vendors along the Rail Trail at Atherton.
๐ฟ Watch an outdoor movie in Fourth Ward Park: Saturdays through Aug. 29.
- Enjoy free movie nights under the stars all summer. You can arrive as early as 7:30pm and movies begin after sunset.
- The first 100 attendees will score free popcorn.

โพ๏ธ Catch a baseball game at Truist Field: Various dates through Sept. 13.
- The Knights are bringing the fun this season with giveaways, special appearances, food and drink deals and more.
๐ Cheer on teams from around the world during soccer's biggest tournament: Various dates through July 19.
- Uptown's French Quarter and South End's sports bars are some of the top spots to watch the action with fellow fans.

- Charlotte's soccer season resumes after the tournament break with a home match against rival Atlanta on July 22.
