Your 5-to-9 doesn’t have to take place at home. Here are some of the best ways to spend a weekday afternoon.
Grab a drink: Catch the sunset on a rooftop bar, like Mizu, RH Rooftop or Cordial. Or sample craft brews at Suffolk Punch or Legion Brewing.
Live music: Follow the music to BAR ONE Lounge (Mondays and Thursdays), IRO Bar & Lounge (Wednesday), Dilworth Tasting Room (every 1st and 3rd Wednesday), Reid’s Fine Foods (Wednesday-Saturday), AC Marriott (Thursday), Leo’s Italian Social (Thursday) and Rhino Market (Friday).
Fitness classes: Take a group exercise class at one of SouthPark’s fitness studios, including BK Pilates, Hustle House Fitness, CycleBar and Studio Fire. If you’re feeling a less structured sweat, join Legion Brewing’s weekly run club or drop in the Harris Express YMCA.
Trivia: Test your knowledge at Rhino Market‘s Monday night trivia, plus grab a sandwich and a pint for $11.50.
