Now hiring: Lowe’s is looking to fill 165 positions on their expanding online merchandising team right now

With online retail bigger than ever, Lowe’s is laser-focused on growing their digital business. And to do that, they’re looking to grow their (already powerful) online merchandising team.

Over the next few months, the home improvement retailer plans to hire for 165 positions on the online merchandising team.

The reason for the quick expansion? Lowe’s has made their digital business a strategic focus for 2020 and beyond. “We want to ensure we are putting the right emphasis on online shopping as consumers have shifted,” says Alison Young, a senior manager in the online merchandising department.

The positions they’re hiring for range from entry level all the way up to leadership.

And they’ll cover a wide range of responsibilities, such as streamlining vendor onboarding and management, aiding in assortment expansions and product launches, optimizing item content and monitoring trends to drive a best-in-class purchasing experience.

“With both our website functions and team growing, it’s an exciting time to be a part of the Lowe’s online team,” says Alison Young. Young also said she feels passionate that the changes being made will lead to long term growth for the company.

All of the roles will be based out of their Lowe’s HQ campus in Mooresville.

If you aren’t familiar with Lowe’s HQ, it’s insanely cool.

The 275-acre campus includes a scenic lake and walking trails, on-site food options (including Salsarita’s), comfy living room-style common space, and a state-of-the-art fitness center that offers cycling classes, yoga, and a basketball court. They even have massage chairs employees can book at 15-minute intervals.
