Hydrate Medical was started by Dr. Leake and Keith Parris, ACNP, in 2014. They wanted to use their experience in the ER to help people to prioritize their health and create a great place for medical staff to work.

Why now: After Hydrate Medical’s clinics saw a slight decrease in sales during the first years of the pandemic, they hired Charlotte-based firm Social Ape Marketing in October 2020.

• Hydrate Medical leveraged a variety of Social Ape’s services, including social media marketing, PR, email marketing, photography, media buying, web development, event coordination and promotional products.

The results: In July 2022 alone, Social Ape delivered 1,002,465 impressions and reached 291,713 people. The majority of conversions came from social media and Google ads.

• Since working with Social Ape, Hydrate Medical has successfully opened four new clinics thanks to pre-opening PR in each market, social media ads, Google ads, and custom in-store signage.

• Hydrate Medical has also been featured in the media on multiple occasions,  increasing brand awareness in Charlotte and other markets.
• Social Ape has also helped Hydrate Medical coordinate 10 times more media buys since 2020.

Looking ahead: There are more Hydrate Medical clinics in the works for 2023 that will be supported by Social Ape’s robust marketing strategy.
