Huntington Bank started hanging its neon green name on the Uptown Charlotte skyline this week.
Why it matters: The vibrant letters get the job done of catching eyes among the gray and silver buildings, as these photos from Uptown worker Michael Konen show.
The big picture: Charlotte's skyline is slowly turning more corporate with the recent addition of the long, red Wells Fargo logo. We've also collected Truist and Honeywell over the last five years.
đź‘€ Yes, the Huntington Bank sign will have synchronizable lights, the bank previously told us. Spot it on top of the 40-story One South office tower, facing South Tryon.
- It sits lower in the sky than those other logos, and the letters are 1 foot shorter than the 14-foot Wells Fargo and Truist letters.
