The Study Food Social is now open at The Pearl — the massive midtown development housing Charlotte's first four-year medical school.
What to expect: The Study is 2,911 square feet. It seats 40 people inside, with additional seating on the outdoor patio. Menu options include breakfast, lunch, desserts and light bites.
- Restaurant Associates, which is part of Charlotte-based Compass Group, is The Pearl's food and beverage provider.
Dig in: Breakfast options include omelettes, buttermilk pancakes, freshly baked pastries, plus a fruit and yogurt bar, to name a few options. Lunch features house-made soups, a salad bar, burgers, sandwiches, bowls and rotating chef-inspired dishes.
- Change Please, a nonprofit with a local roasting facility in Charlotte, is the coffee roaster.
How it works: The Study is open to the public. To order, use the café kiosks or pre-order and pay via Toast online.
If you go: The Study is on the ground floor of the Howard R. Levine Center for Education (915 Pearl Park Way). It's open for breakfast from 7–10am and lunch from 11am–3pm Monday through Friday. Grab-and-go options are available from 7am–6pm.
