Bar Fly rooftop bar opens at Camp North End

A rooftop bar called Bar Fly is now open at Camp North End.
Why it matters: The new temporary concept comes from Rachel Hopkins, owner of Room Service and Black Moth Bars, who's collaborating with Hattie's Tap & Tavern owner Jackie DeLoach.
What to expect: Located above Room Service, the rooftop deck will serve cocktails and bites and host weekend events through September.
- The drink menu includes some Room Service cocktails, plus wine, sangria, beer and rotating frozen slushies.
- Small bites include balsamic caramelized onion dip, house pickles, marinated olives, hot dogs and "Roadside Caviar" made with house Cajun boiled peanuts.
The vibe: Expect the same eclectic feel as Room Service, with events including karaoke, trivia, bingo, movie nights and dance parties. There's also games on the rooftop like a dart board and a pool table.
- Bar Fly will celebrate its launch Aug. 28 with a "Queer Icon Dance Party," featuring drink specials and a DJ until midnight.
Stop by: Take the stairs on the side of Room Service, to find Bar Fly at 701 Keswick Ave #105. It's open Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm-midnight and Sundays from 12pm-6pm.
