Andy Roddick is part of a stacked cast in this summer's pickleball comedy, "The Dink," heading to Apple TV.
Why it matters: Charlotte has long lauded the fame of model and actress Brooklyn Decker, Roddick's wife, who attended Butler High School in Matthews. After years of the couple calling the Charlotte area home, we're claiming Roddick as a local celebrity, too.
What to expect: Roddick is the childhood nemesis of Dusty Boyd, played by Jake Johnson in the upcoming film. Boyd, is a former tennis prodigy who is forced to turn to pickleball to rehab an injury.
The cast also includes Ben Stiller, Ed Harris, Patton Oswalt, Chloe Fineman, Chris Parnell and Aaron Chen.
