Sneak peek: South End's Market on Morehead opens soon

South End's next buzzy restaurant and bar opens soon with a mega TV visible from the Rail Trail.

Why it matters: Market on Morehead's 25-foot outdoor screen, skyline views and spacious dog-friendly patio are anticipated to draw crowds to the restaurant, right next to Carson Station and just blocks from Uptown.

The spot comes from the same owners of the popular Market on Main in Columbia, South Carolina.

What to expect: The menu leans gourmet American, featuring lobster rolls, wings, burgers, fries and more.

What's next: Market on Morehead soft opens Thursday, May 14, for dinner and will slowly roll out brunch and lunch throughout the rest of the month.
