Local coffee brandCHNO Coffee has a new home in Lower South End.
Catch up quick: CHNO, which started as a mobile coffee bar in 2022, moved from its spot inside Pure Pizza on The Plaza to the Elan LoSo apartment complex earlier this month.
What to expect: Espresso drinks, matchas, teas and energy drinks made with house-made syrups.
There are caffeine-free treats, including shushees, Two Scoops pints and rotating pastries from local bakeries.
The shop is also in the process of getting its beer and wine license, says owner Carlea Recinos.
If you go: The ground floor offers seating at tables, at the bar or on couches. There's a mezzanine with a few more tables.
Sip on this: The "Gramma Deb," an oatmeal cream pie matcha latte (we subbed the matcha for espresso), $6.
The seasonal menu, which also includes a Cap'n Crunch cereal milk latte, is built around nostalgia, says Recinos.
